What is the Reverse Engineering?

When the specifications of the customer's existing sensor are missing (e.g., no drawings, unknown parameters due to system integration), reverse engineering can provide the customer: 1. Second-source development – reproduces the interoperable design to ensure that the replacement is perfectly matched to the mechanical/electrical interface of the original sensor. 2. Customized modification – adjust parameters such as range, output type (voltage/current), frequency response, etc., to meet new requirements.

ABEK SENSORS is able to perform non-destructive testing of position sensor samples, determine parameters, and provide solutions.

When a sensor supplier in your location is discontinued, no longer offers a specific design, or is overpriced, such as GL Collins, Macro Sensors, Schaevitz, Measurement, Kavlico. ABEK SENSORS engineers are ready to work with you to reverse engineer the original design.

ABEK SENSORS designs and manufactures a range of inductive position sensors, whether linear position sensors (LVDTs), rotary position sensors (RVDTs) or signal conditioners, and our engineers can quickly determine the electrical performance, linearity, range, and other physical characteristics of the sensors you are currently using.
