R28-017 Series RVDT Rotary Variable Differential Transformer is an angular displacement transducer that provides a linearly proportional voltage output for angular displacement in harsh environments such as low temperatures/high temperatures, strong shock and vibration.

The RVDTs are non-contact, as well as integral coil and rotor design, with long-term reliability and long service life.

The R28-017 is a ratio metric (differential ratio sum) design, and the output is almost unaffected by temperature and power supply changes, which can effectively improve the system accuracy.

This series is AC-operated and have no built-in signal conditioning electronics, thus providing users with an extremely wide operating temperature range (from -55°C to 155°C).

It offers a measuring range of ±65° and is suitable for a wide range of applications such as aerospace, engine, valve position feedback and rotary brake feedback.
