RVDT - Rotary Position Sensor

RVDT is an abbreviation for Rotary Variable Differential Transformer, which is an angular displacement sensor. It adopts the same differential transformer principle as LVDT, i.e. the rotation of mechanical parts is transferred to the shaft of the angular displacement transducer, which drives the spoiler/core connected to it, changes the induced voltage/inductance in the coil, and outputs voltage/current signals proportional to the angle of rotation.

R28 series diff/sum (ratiometric) output RVDT rotary position sensors

R28-017 Series RVDT Rotary Variable Differential Transformer is an angular displacement transducer that provides a linearly proportional voltage output for angular displacement in harsh environments such as low temperatures/high temperatures, strong shock and vibration.
The RVDTs are non-contact, as well as integral coil and rotor design, with long-term reliability and long service life.
The R28-017 is a ratio metric (differential ratio sum) design, and the output is almost unaffected by temperature and power supply changes, which can effectively improve the system accuracy.

R20 Series Severe Environment AC RVDT Rotary Position Sensors

The R20 series RVDT rotary position sensors launched by Abek Sensors are widely used in a variety of position measurement fields.
The R20 is an AC rotary position sensor. AC excitation from 3 to 12 Vrms produces an AC output voltage that changes linearly with the angular displacement of the shaft. The R20 is AC-operated and has no built-in signal conditioning electronics, providing the user with an extremely wide operating temperature range (from -55°C to 150°C).
